Justin Walker strives to instill his passion for music in everyone whose path he crosses. As a performer, Justin is an active tenor soloist and choral singer who has appeared onstage at venues throughout the state of Florida, performing repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary works. Drawing influence from singers such as Luciano Pavarotti, Alfredo Kraus, Nicolai Gedda, and Hansi Kürsch, Justin has developed into a versatile performer recognized for his beautiful tone and expressive musicality.

A native of Florida, Justin was born and raised in the Melbourne area, where he studied under Metropolitan Opera singer Mark Baker until his relocation to Jacksonville, where he studies with James Hall at the University of North Florida while pursuing his degrees in Music Education and Music Performance. Justin also maintains a successful private teaching studio in the Jacksonville area, where he teaches voice, guitar, and piano.

As a composer, Justin Walker writes for ensembles of all combinations, including choirs, orchestras, small chamber ensembles, and soloists (such as in his most recent work, “At the Gallows”, for organ). Combining heavy-metal experience, classical training, and an admiration for Celtic and Appalachian folk music, Justin has created a unique blend of styles that shines through in all of his compositions.

Justin Walker continues to delight audiences across the state of Florida. The Events page contains information regarding Justin’s next performances, while Justin’s CV contains more information about his experience and education.
Since teaching his first student in 2007, Justin Walker has strived to help students of all ages and skill levels develop their musical talents through the combination of standard instruction and the building of a repertoire list of songs you want to learn!

Your adventure begins with a no-strings-attached complimentary first lesson, where we will discuss your prior experience with music, introduce you to your new instrument, and ensure you and your teacher are the perfect match.

“I think Justin is a great instructor with this 9 year old child. My highest rating and greatest compliments to this instructor.” -Kathryn H. (Voice), May 29, 2012

“Justin is a great, teacher.. very easy going and has taught me alot. I enjoy him teaching me the Guitar.” -Mitch W. (Guitar), March 26, 2012
